Linde BOC Process Plants LLC and PHPK Announce Alliance to Manufacture Vacuum Insulated LNG Piping

Columbus, OH - July 14, 2006 - Linde BOC Process Plants LLC (LBPP) and PHPK Technologies (PHPK) have formed a strategic alliance agreement to design and manufacture vacuum jacketed piping for the global LNG market. The agreement allows for PHPK as a sub-contractor to LBPP to provide sales, marketing, engineering and the manufacture of sub-components. LBPP will provide material procurement and fabricate the final piping section assemblies.

Steve Bertone, president of Linde BOC Process Plants stated, "The Linde alliance with PHPK gives LBPP the opportunity to enhance our participation in the growing LNG market using PHPK's proven technology in vacuum insulated piping systems."

Linde BOC Process Plants is a member of the Linde Group, a global supplier of industrial and medical gases and highly engineered gas processing equipment. Linde Engineering has constructed LNG plants around the world and Selas Fluid Processing Corporation, another member of the Linde Group, is a leading supplier of LNG vaporization equipment. LBPP designs and fabricates process plants and equipment for the refining, gas processing, air separation, and hydrogen and helium markets.

Richard Coleman, president of PHPK Technologies commented, "We have witnessed the need for large bore vacuum insulated piping grow to the point where another qualified supplier is necessary to meet future demands. PHPK is well experienced in the design and manufacture of complex vacuum insulated piping systems, including small diameter LNG systems, but lacked the shipping access necessary to supply the large diameter, long length spool sections required in the LNG market. Linde provides that missing piece with their sea port access facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In addition, LBPP has the people, expertise, and experience to provide the high quality product required by our customers."

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, PHPK has a staff of engineers and designers each averaging over 20 years of experience in the cryogenic industry. PHPK Technologies engineers and manufactures standard and custom-built industrial equipment primarily for low-temperature and cryogenic applications. From tube size valves and CVI Torr Master® Cryopumps to engineered systems, PHPK products are installed at every National Laboratory, NASA facility and throughout the Aerospace, Industrial Gas and Semiconductor industries.
